Cleo Jones

On August 14, 2019 Mr. Cleo Jones took his journey with God, Born April 23,1925 in Ashton SC. Moved to New York at an early age. He worked many years in the supermarket industry in and  around New York.Cleo was a dedicated and proud teamster. After retirement he and his wife Mildred relocated to Seneca SC, and made that their home and even though he was in South Carolina he still held on to his favorite team, New York Yankees and he was built tough like his Ford he loved so much. His last days was spent with laughter and love while at his home in Bethlehem PA. with his family.

Mr. Jones was 94 years young. He was predeceased by his loving wife Mildred Jones of over 30 years. Also, his mother Sarah Jones and father Henry Jones. His siblings Johnny and Kenneth Jones and sister Lucille Haynes and her husband Effridge Haynes and grandson Gerald Dwayne Stewart.

Cleo will be truly missed and leaves behind cherish memories of his daughters Jacqueline Robinson, Marie Edmundson, Four grandchildren: Tracy Cherry Sanders and husband Troy Sanders, Takira Edmundson, Chakka Edmundson, Yorri Edmundson. Four  great grandchildren: Kalief Robinson and wife Constance Robinson, Tradara Cherry, Olivia and Sarah Stewart, Three great great grandchildren : Zavian Robinson, Zayphyr Jackson, Adriel Robinson and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services will he held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Seneca SC, on Thursday , August 22, 2019 at 11:00 am. Gilbert Mortuary is in charge,
