James Carl Williams

James Carl Williams was born April 10, 1956, in Seneca South Carolina to James Henry and Jean Elizabeth Williams. On May 30, 2024, James Carl was called to his eternal home.

At an early age, James Carl attended Ebenezer Baptist Church in Seneca, South Carolina before moving to New York. James Carl received his education through Seneca High School, Seneca, South Carolina.

Starting at Macy’s Department Store, James Carl worked in janitorial maintenance until his health declined, preventing him from working. He enjoyed watching wrestling, basketball and watching the Clemson Tigers play football like no other team could play.

James Carl leaves to cherish fond and dear memories to his devoted son, John Steven Goodine ( Guynin Myers-Goodine) of Temple Hill, Maryland; loving daughters, Nat’e Barnett Veney ( Nathaniel Veney) and Larkeysha Marie Williams (Timothy Johnson) both of Virginia Beach, Virginia; eleven beautiful grandchildren and two precious great grandchildren: a sister, Minister Vanessa Warner( Darren Lee Warner) of Anderson, South Carolina: an aunt, Daisy D. Grimes of Nashville, Tennessee; two brothers-in-law, David Campbell , of Seneca South Carolina and Kirk Boyce( Deborah Boyce) of Greenwood, South Carolina; a special niece and caretaker , Gail Thomas( Tony Thomas) of Honea Path, South Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

James was predeceased by his parents , a daughter, Mary Goodine, his wife, Tammy Williams, sisters, Meshall Campbell, Shelby Boyce and Carolyn Elaine Howard. He will be missed and cherished by so many.

Viewing Service will be  held on Friday, June 7, 2024 from 1pm - 5pm, Gilbert Mortuary, M.J.G Memorial Chapel.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday , June 8, 2024 at 20, Gilbert Mortuary, M.J.G Memorial Chapel.
